Lam Circle
We have finally moved in to our house on Lam Circle. We are very pleased with the house. We are lucky as our house was renovated before we moved in. It has new carpets and flooring, new paint and some of the appliances are new.
It is a 2 bedroom house but to our surprise a 3rd room is downstairs that will be used as an office. The kitchen is quite big and has French doors leading to a patio in the back yard. We also have a patio in front, which is nice as the evening sun shines at the front of the house.
We have already met some of the neighbors and they are all incredibly nice, offering their help and welcoming us to the neighborhood. There are many nationalities presented here, there are people from Canada, Denmark and Iran living in our nearest vicinity and yesterday Oskar met a boy from China. They got along very well, playing in the back yard and in Oskars room. They had no problem communicating, even though neither of them spoke much English and Oskar does not to my knowledge speak Chinese. They somehow managed to get their point across without a common language. Children are so adjustable, they just go with the flow and make the best of everything.
Isol and I are going back to USA today, were going to Chris and Lisa’s wedding in Port Angeles. We’ll stay there for 2 nights, using the opportunity to spend some quality time just the two of us. Isol´s mother will stay with the kids, she arrived this week and will be staying with us for seven weeks.
Apparently there is a Cougar living in our backyard, somewhere between these trees. A neighbor told Isol that she had seen a Cougar by the tree swings yesterday. Her husband fussed and said it was probably just a cat. I spent last night in an upper floor window ready with the camera to capture a live cougar in the back yard. All I saw were some bunnies and a yellow fat cat, a big tomcat, probably just a coincidence.
